Compliance Statement

Mercedes-Benz Heritage GmbH (hereinafter also referred to as ‘Mercedes-Benz Heritage’, ‘we’, “us”, ‘our’) strives to make its website www.mercedes-benz.de accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) and the Accessibility Enhancement Act Ordinance (BFSGV).

Status of compliance with requirements

The website https://www.mercedes-benz-classic-store.com/en-de is partially compliant with the BFSG due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions. Our products and services can be found, accessed and used by people with disabilities in the usual manner, without particular difficulty and, in principle, without external assistance.

Non-accessible content

  • Some pages contain images without captions. Navigating to the images using screen readers is difficult.
  • Some pages contain links without link text.
  • On some pages, the contrast between text and background is too low.
  • On all pages, there are elements with the Aria-hidden attribute that can also be focused on. This means that these elements are accessible to assistive technologies, even though they should be hidden.

  • Historical content: Older content created before the BFSG came into force may not be fully accessible. Retrofitting this content would require a disproportionate amount of effort. However, new content is created in accordance with current standards.
